Patient Bathroom

Although a part of the patient room, the bathroom has separate needs. Reduce trip hazards with steplights for floor-level illumination, particularly at night. Vanity lighting that can even accommodate the wheelchair bound. Materials that can withstand stringent cleaning protocols for infection control

Providing safe patient navigation to and from the patient bathroom to prevent dangerous falls is a critical concern. Steplights placed outside the bathroom balance the need for safe navigation while avoiding circadian disruption. Like the patient room, the lighting in the bathroom is also multi-functional. These spaces benefit from modern, hospitality-driven designs with enhanced functionality, such as sconces with integral nightlights and vanity mirrors with high vertical illumination. BalancedCare™ by Axis brings it all together.

Photometric Scale Tool

Information

For Linears – Target Total Luminaire Lumens, calculate by multiplying the original length by your desired lumen value. For example, if you want 800 lumens, multiply 800 × 4 (original length). Target Total Luminaire Lumens input would be 3200.

For optimal accuracy, always use a maximum length of 4ft. Anything beyond this includes only one light source. Note: Direct/Indirect scales proportionally and cannot be adjusted separately.
