At Pickering College, the new West Lake House creates a dynamic environment for teaching, learning, and connection.
Designed to nearly double the school’s classroom space, the new academic hub brings together flexible spaces that can adapt to different activities and ways of learning.
For this project, Axis Lighting provided a lighting solution that integrates seamlessly with the architecture. Beam 2 was mounted high along several walls, with fixed-position Stella 55 heads on the direct side and asymmetric optics on the indirect side.
The result is an adaptable lighting approach that supports the character and function of each space while contributing to a welcoming and engaging learning environment.
