When Pittsburgh-based logistics company Armada relocated its headquarters, the move represented more than a change of address; it marked a cultural shift toward a more collaborative, in-person way of working. Desmone Architects guided the transformation through a deeply integrated design process, shaping a workplace that reflects Armada's identity at every scale. The result is a cohesive environment where a custom shipping-container meeting space, a live fleet-tracking display, and curated, branded details come together to tell the company's story.
Axis Lighting's Beam 3 Recessed and Beam 3 Patterns are specified throughout, delivering a precise, architectural quality of light that holds the space together without competing with it. From open work areas and huddle rooms to larger conference and collaboration zones, the fixtures define circulation, support varied work modes, and bring a quiet consistency to a dynamic, multifaceted floor plate. Light here does what great lighting always should: it recedes into the architecture, letting the space and the people within it take center stage.
